A program or service for tracking the results of online advertising campaigns.
Ad tracking is an important activity when advertising online and off, particularly when you are paying for ads and not relying heavily on free Web traffic.
Ad tracking software tells you which ads are working and which ones aren’t so you can quickly make adjustments to the non-performing ads.
An example is Aesop Marketing’s
ROIbot, which is an inexpensive tool many Internet marketers use for tracking their ads and affiliate links.
A great service that’s recently been released is
Nitro Stats from my buddies over at P&D Marketing, Kevin Wilke and Matt Gill. These guys are web-aholics like me and I assure you they have put a significant amount of time and resources into NitroStats. The same goes for Aesop’s ROIbot ad tracking module.
