Hidden Text
Invisible text in a web page. The text color is matched with the background color of the web page. Search engines frown on hidden text because unscrupulous webmasters have used this trick to stuff keywords in web pages to get better search rankings and to trap web site traffic.
If caught, the search engines will assess penalties against web sites using hidden text. They may even drop sites from their index.
