Newsletter Advertising

Promotional copy in online newsletters, usually in the form of a third party sponsorship with text links to jump readers to the advertisers web site. Targeted newsletter advertising is one of the most effective and cost efficient forms of Internet promotion.

Typically there are two types of newsletter advertising arrangements:
  • Joint Venture
  • Paid Ads
With a joint venture, commissions from sales generated by the advertisement are split between the newsletter owner and the advertiser. In a joint venture, typically there are no upfront costs incurred by the advertiser. Instead, the advertiser pays a commission (a percentage of gross profit) earned by the ad.

With a paid ad, you will simply pay a one-time fee to be listed in a sponsor box in the newsletter or e-zine issues of your choice.
