Pay per Click Search Engines
Search engines that charge a click-based fee for rankings or ad listings. Rankings are prioritized according to the bid amount with the highest bidder receiving the number one listing, the second highest bidder receiving the number two listing and so on. When someone clicks on a listing, the advertiser pays the agreed upon click fee to the search engine.
